X-Wars

I started playing X-Wars in mid 2004 during the Beta 4 round as a member of the alliance NASE. In the next round, Beta 5, I (and most of my former allies) joined the alliance CoS (Circle of Shadows). Since the breakup of CoS I was a member of FUBAR (F*cked Up Beyond Recognition). This alliance too didn't last very long, and thus I finished the round as a member of IKR (Imperiales Klingonisches Reich).

I wrote a few small applications providing helpful information (access for alliance members only).

Tippspiel

Tippspiel is a simple PHP/MySQL-based sports bet application created for the Soccer World Cup 2006. Sorry, participation by invitation only.

The installation of Debian Lenny on my Lenovo Thinkpad R61 was quite easy. Here are some notes for others.

Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook E8110

In contrast to the Thinkpad, the installation of Debian Etch on my Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook E8110 was quite difficult (hence I named the machine defiant). I wrote down some notes that might help others. I do not any longer own this machine, so I cannot answer specific questions.
